World Health Monitor is an independent information site. We collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Server logs. When you visit, our servers record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. We use these logs for security, to fix problems, and to count how many visitors come from each country and city (worked out on our own server; we keep only the counts, not the addresses). The logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Visit counts. To count visitors, we store a one-way code made from your address and browser, together with your device type and the page you visited. The code cannot be turned back into your IP address, and we do not store the IP address itself.
- Your settings stay on your device. Choices such as your topic, view, theme and watchlist are saved only in your own browser. We never receive them, and you can delete them by clearing your browser's data for this site.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
- We don't sell or share your data.
Who handles it
- The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States, which stores our logs on our behalf.
- To draw the page, your browser downloads a few files from other services, which see your IP address when it does: charting code from Cloudflare (cdnjs) and jsDelivr, fonts from Google Fonts, and video thumbnails from YouTube.
- Links on the site take you to the original sources (FDA, journals, news sites and others), which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. Because logs are kept for only 30 days, we usually hold nothing that identifies you. Contact: farasasadek@cloudkair.com
Not medical or investment advice
Information on this site comes from public sources and AI summaries. It may be incomplete, delayed or wrong; every item links to its original source. It is not medical advice or investment advice. Talk to a doctor or a licensed financial adviser before making decisions.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes, for example when we add sign-in.
